Sweet City Woman - by The Stampeders

This song came on the radio today.  Needless to say, it didn't turn off.
The Stampeders' "beginnings can be traced back to Calgary in 1964 with a band called The Rebounds".  In January the next year, they changed their name to The Stampeders after a new manager entered the scene.  They relocated to Toronto in '66, & broke through in '68 with "Morning Magic".  They've released almost a dozen albums over the course of their career as a band - & they're still touring.  This song [is no doubt one of their biggest hits; &] is from their album "Against the Grain" - released in 1973.

(& needless to say, I've got to stop saying "needless to say" so often...)
