Listened (actually, still listening this minute [8.51p]) to this album for the first time in too long. Love it.
(& I'm just going to post what I did last time about them as I've homework & can do such...).
The Almost is based out of Tampa, FL. Fronted by singer/guitarist Aaron Gillespie (former drummer for Underoath), they formed in 2005, and released their debut LP "Southern Weather" (produced by Aaron Sprinkle) on Tooth & Nail Records on April 3rd, 2007. The album debuted at 39 on Billboard's Top 200 & spent 20 weeks on the chart. 2 years and 2 EP's later ("No Gift to Bring" [2008], a Christmas EP, & "Monster" [2009]), they released "Monster Monster" on Nov. 3rd, 2009. & as some fun trivia: in 2009, Gillespie hosted The Almost Culinary Contest, for which "the lucky contestant will be flown to the Capitol Tower in Los Angeles to cook the winning recipe on-camera with Aaron November 10th [2009]". This song is from "Monster Monster".
