Clocks and Timepieces - by Search the City (& piano version by Evil Us)

Heard some sad news today from Evil Us  - Josh posted a message & link about his cousin's 9 year old daughter that was killed yesterday in a hunting accident (I'll post the news link below).
Search the City is based out of Detroit, MI.  The name came as a result of them (guitarists Alex Sheldon & James (Jim) Czech, & drummer Adam McMillion) & "seeking out other musicians to complete their final lineup".  "'They named it that because they were looking for all of the different members, all over different cities,' [singer Josh] Frost explains. 'That meant all over Michigan.  And because I was living in Florida at the time, they just called it Search the City'".  They released their debut EP "Ghosts" in 2006, signed with Tooth & Nail Records, then released their LP "A Fire So Big the Heavens Can See It" on April 1st, 2008.  StC announced their break up on MySpace on May 13th, 2009 (see previous post about them for details), but have since announced (just this a couple months ago, if that) the coming of a new album (still on T&N Records) for early next year, if not sooner.  This song is from "A Fire So Big the Heavens Can See It".
(I'm guessing this one's a demo as it's different from the studio version I have on the CD..)

the news story:

& here's the piano version that Evil Us (which StC singer Josh Frost is part of) did of the song, which you can download for free, if you wish; or, you can purchase the song - all proceeds will go to the family of the victim of the tragic accident…
