Patience - by Abandoning Sunday

[Relatively] new song.  New video.  <-- Enjoy.
Abandoning Sunday is from DeLand, FL.  They began in Dec. 2007, started by singer/guitarist Michael Thomas - & though it started out as 'Abandoning Sunday is Michael Thomas', it is now officially a 'band' (check out http://abandoningsunday.blogspot.com/ for such details…).  The other members are guitarist John Ostermann, & drummer [Aaron] Casey Roth (who, as it appears, is roughly my age as he is from a high school class of 2010 - which I think is kinda cool! lol).  They released a set of demos (called "Demos and Such") in May 2010, followed by "Forgive (Acoustic EP)" in Sept. that same year.  & on March 29th, 2011, they released their newest single "Patience".  They started working on a new album just last month [April]; & in addition, they were the Indie Rock Winner in April on OurStage.com as well as in the Top 40 in Indie Rock [May 2011] & Top 40 in Acoustic [April 2011] on OurStage.  This song, as mentioned, was their single released in March.
The music video was released just yesterday, too (May 27th)

Also, they're currently in the run (with a few other awesome bands, too!) for this song & "Really, I'm Fine" to be in the movie "Renee" - you can check out some details on the movie here:
http://www.reneethemovie.com/ (& here: www.reneethemovie.com/soundtrack for details on the contest which ends in 2 days…)(but FYI: the .com/soundtrack page seems to be fussy… just so you know…)

  1. Also: they've finished tracking for the new album & it sounds like the album'll be out in September of this year.
