Time Freeze Moment - by St. Bagu

Felt like listenin' to a bit of hip-hop tonight.

St. Bagu is from based out of Chicago, IL.  The hip-hop band started with two friends: Tony Pozdol & Freddy Bustamante.  They began creating music together in 2001; then 5 years later, they attended a show where they met guitarist Moises (Moe) Pacheco who was at that time in another group called Berto Ramon.  By 2008, Berto Ramon had broken up, & in 2009, Tony & Freddy had another, but incomplete, group called Offnotzoidz.  They got a hold of Moe who came on board, eventually followed by former Ramon bassist David Opio, then one of Moe’s friends, key/violin player Chi Chan To.  By May of 2010, they had completed their lineup with drummer Jason Alamo.  & as it turns out, with the exception of Chi Chan, they all had attended the same high school, though only Tony & Freddy were friends during those years.  They released their debut “Lines EP” independently on April 22^nd, 2010, followed by an EP called “While We’re Waiting” on May 14^th, 2011.  “While We’re Waiting” is, appropriately, an EP they released while working on their to-be LP “Crash/Boom”.  This song is from “While We’re Waiting”, which they have offered for FREE.
